Our Campus

The Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School community is situated near the Seymour River, in a quiet, residential neighbourhood in picturesque North Vancouver. Located just 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver, our campus occupies an expansive tree-lined acreage in the shadow of Mount Seymour.

Students come from across the Metro Vancouver Regional District, with some families relocating from other cities or provinces to better meet their child’s educational needs. With its close proximity to the city centre and abundance of outdoor opportunities, North Vancouver is an ideal place for learning opportunities and raising a family.

Our bus program makes commuting from outside of North Vancouver convenient and easy.

Community Partnerships

KGMS is actively engaged in creating partnerships within the local and broader community. Many professionals bring their expertise to our campus that help us enhance our Arts, Technology and Applied Skills programs.

Maplewood Farms provides students with opportunities for experiential learning through the school’s annual membership. Emily Carr University of Art and Design brings their skills and experience to KGMS through shared learning experiences. Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centre provides senior students the opportunity to learn fitness and conditioning, teaches students how to access community resources and builds on the need for health and wellness in a balanced lifestyle.

KGMS in the Media

Students are often recognized for their community contributions across local media.
